There is no Nourishing Yin Combination as a proprietary Chinese medicine, only Nourishing Yin Clearing Lung Combination and Nourishing Yin Mouth and Fragrance Combination, the effects and efficacy of the drugs are as follows:
1. Nourishing Yin and Clearing Lung Combination has the efficacy of nourishing yin and moisturizing the lungs (nourishing the lungs by replenishing the lung fluid), clearing heat and relieving pharynx. It is mainly used for the treatment of cough with little or no sputum, dry throat and sore throat caused by internal heat in the lungs due to deficiency of yin. The adverse reactions and contraindications of this drug are not clear.
2. Nourishing Yin Mouth and Fragrance Combination has the effects of clearing stomach fire, nourishing Yin and generating fluids (nourishing the body’s water and fluids), and promoting the flow of Qi and eliminating the accumulation of stagnation. It is mainly used for the treatment of dry and bitter mouth, halitosis, mouth and tongue sores, dry throat, sore throat, burning pain in the stomach, dry and knotty stools, etc., caused by stomach heat and fluid deficiency, and yin deficiency and internal heat. The adverse reactions and contraindications of the drug are not clear.
