Mucopolysaccharide Polysulfate Cream has antithrombotic, anti-inflammatory, and normal connective tissue regeneration properties, and is primarily used for the topical treatment of blunt force trauma with or without hematoma formation, and superficial phlebitis that cannot be treated by compression. Side effects include local skin reactions and contact dermatitis. Mucopolysaccharide Polysulfate Cream produces anti-thrombotic effects through the blood coagulation and fibrinolytic systems; anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting enzymes involved in catabolism and by affecting the prostaglandin and complement systems; and promotes the regeneration of normal connective tissues by stimulating synthesis in mesenchymal cells and by restoring the ability of intercellular substances to retain water. Thus, Mucopolysaccharide Polysulfate Cream prevents the formation of superficial thrombi, stops the development of local inflammation and accelerates the absorption of hematomas. Patients should be aware of the following: hypersensitivity to the drug is contraindicated; hypersensitivity to heparin, hemorrhagic constitution and known heparin-induced thrombocytopenia is contraindicated; open wounds, broken skin or mucous membranes should not be applied; pregnancy or breastfeeding is not recommended; children and the use of drugs in the elderly is not clear.
