There is no such medication as “Forsythia antidote tablet” in clinical practice, but there is “Forsythia sepulchre tablet” in common use. Forsythia and Toxin Relieving Tablets has the effect of clearing away heat and toxins (removing heat and toxins from the body), subduing swelling and relieving pain (eliminating swelling and pain), and is used for treating sores and ulcers as well as burning heat and fever. Forsythia and Toxin Tablet is used for the treatment of sores and ulcers caused by fire, heat and toxicity that burns the skin. The symptoms include lumps on internal organs or body surface, locally visible pain, redness and pus, accompanied by red face, dry mouth, body heat, yellowish urine and constipation. For patients with carbuncle, gangrene, furuncle and sores, if the above symptoms occur, they can also take forsythia sepulchre tablets. The adverse effects of taking forsythia sepulchre tablets are not clear, and pregnant women should not take it. Forsythia septica tablets need to be used reasonably after identification by a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner, so as not to delay the condition.
