Do you need to fast for a 3-D?

You do not need to fast to have a 3D.
3D refers to three-dimensional ultrasound, which is a diagnostic gray-scale and/or color Doppler ultrasound instrument that acquires several numbers of gray-scale images and color Doppler flow images from several different locations on a particular part of the body (organ), which are rapidly combined and processed by a computer to display a three-dimensional image of the area on a screen.
Three-dimensional ultrasound may be helpful in diagnosing fetal facial abnormalities, neural tube defects, fetal tumors, and skeletal malformations. The test is usually performed during the fifth to sixth month of pregnancy, and an empty stomach is not required for this test. Because the fetus is larger and can be seen more clearly by this time, eating by the pregnant woman usually does not hinder the test or affect the results.
During pregnancy, women should follow the doctor’s instructions for regular checkups, and if there are any uncomfortable symptoms, they should consult a doctor in time.
