Tonsil stones fall out and have a hole how to heal them

Tonsil stones fall out with a hole in them and are considered to be tonsil crypts. The tonsillar crypt is a normal structure of the tonsils, but due to the expanding effect of the tonsillar stone, the crypt is enlarged and looks like a hole to the naked eye. This hole will not heal, and after the stone is removed, the crypt may gradually shrink with the elasticity of the tonsil tissue itself.
While the surface of the tonsil tissue looks smooth and flat, the surface of the tonsil actually has many small pits of varying depths, clinically known as tonsillar crypts. Tonsil crypts are blind tubes formed when the tonsil epithelium plunges into the tonsil parenchyma and grows, which is a normal structure of the tonsils. Under normal circumstances, the opening of the crypt is so small that it is not easy to distinguish with the naked eye.
The formation of tonsil stones is related to a variety of factors such as food residue, inflammatory stimulation, and tonsil stones are deposited in the tonsil crypt. Therefore, after the tonsil stones fall, the naked eye sees the tonsil fossa is only enlarged, the hole may be with the elasticity of the tonsil tissue gradually shrink, in essence, can not be like the traditional sense of the wound as “healing”.
