What’s wrong with diarrhea right after eating?

Diarrhea just after eating may be related to physiological factors such as diet, or pathological factors such as acute gastroenteritis, irritable bowel syndrome, small bowel malabsorption syndrome.
1. Physiological factors: if you eat spicy sauce, pickles and other foods, will stimulate the gastrointestinal tract leading to diarrhea; if you eat corn, sweet potatoes and other coarse grains, may accelerate the gastrointestinal tract peristalsis leading to diarrhea.
2. Pathologic factors:
(1) Acute gastroenteritis: due to the consumption of unclean food or cold and irritating food, the gastrointestinal mucosa can be infected and acute inflammation, which in turn leads to diarrhea.
(2) Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS): intestinal hypersensitivity due to a variety of factors can cause intestinal dysfunction, usually with symptoms such as changes in bowel habits and diarrhea after meals.
(3) Small Intestine Malabsorption Syndrome: Due to the overgrowth of bacteria in the small intestine and insufficient bile secretion, the absorption and digestion function of the small intestine can be impaired, and nutrients cannot be absorbed normally and excreted from the feces, which in turn leads to diarrhea after meals.
