Can a fissured posterior molar be treated with dry pulp?

Dry endodontic treatment is not recommended for a fissured posterior molar. Currently, depending on the depth of the fissured tooth, a resin filling, desensitization treatment or root canal crown restoration is performed.
1. Dry pulp therapy was widely used in the era when there was a lack of medicine, and is an ancient endodontic treatment that has been widely replaced by root canal therapy.
2. If a cracked tooth requires radiographic examination, and the crack line has not reached the pulp cavity but the tooth has symptoms of dentin sensitivity, it can be desensitized by applying medication such as strontium chloride, or by preparing a cavity-type resin to fill the crack. If symptoms of pulpitis have already appeared after examination, root canal treatment is needed to protect the tooth after crown restoration.
Cracked teeth need to go to the regular hospital for professional treatment, and at the same time, daily need to eat less hard objects to prevent tooth splitting.
