Giant colon surgery may have sequelae, and the following sequelae are generally seen: 1. constipation (constipated before surgery, unable to defecate normally, still unable to defecate normally after surgery); 2. enterocolitis, a special sequelae after giant colon surgery, also known as giant colon associated enteritis, clinical manifestations are mostly high fever, abdominal distension, explosive watery discharge, foul-smelling stools, X-ray films can generally observe dilated intestinal tubes, irregular and unsmooth intestinal mucosa, large amounts of fluid in the intestinal cavity, etc.; 3. foul stool: often a small amount of feces or fecal juice contaminate the underwear.
