How to massage your head to relieve a headache

Methods of massaging the head for headache relief include one-finger Zen pushing, pressing and kneading, holding, straight pushing, and sweeping and scattering. Head massage usually requires professionals to operate.
1. One-finger Zen push method: the patient takes a sitting position or supine position, the therapist with one-finger Zen push method, with the end of the thumb finger or the abdomen of the finger force, from the Hall of Indigo points to the Shenting points, and then to the head-dimensional points, solar plexus points.
2. Pressing and kneading: Press and knead the Yin Tang point, the Head Wei point, the Eye Ming point, the Jiao Sun point, and the Ah Yes point (the point where the feeling of acidity, numbness, distension and pain is obvious) and other acupoints.
3. Holding method: The thumb and other fingers are used with relative force to lift and pinch or knead from the Fengchi point to the Da Shi point on both sides.
4. Straight push method: use the end of the thumb or the abdomen of the thumb to push the bladder meridian on both sides of the neck and neckline from upward and downward.
5. Sweeping and dispersing method: fingers flexed on both sides of the head, wrist joint relaxation, forearm movement, driving the wrist joint swing, back and forth direction of the rapid sliding back and forth.
