There is no such thing as “strongly alkaline food”, and food cannot be strongly alkaline. Strong bases are substances whose ionized anions in aqueous solution are all hydroxide ions, and whose solutions have a pH of 12 under standard conditions (concentration of 0.1 mol/L), as opposed to weak bases. Strong bases are tremendously corrosive and emit a lot of heat when they corrode other objects, which is similar to strong acids such as concentrated sulfuric acid. That is why strong alkalis cannot be food, which can lead to severe burns in the digestive tract. Also the acidity or alkalinity of food has almost zero effect on normal body blood. Our body has a complex blood buffer system that maintains the PH of the blood within a relatively stable range. So the pH of food can’t affect the pH of the body.
