What to do when your hair goes bald

Bald hair may be related to conditions such as patchy baldness, androgenetic alopecia or resting hair loss, which can be treated with measures such as systemic medication, topical medication or hair transplantation surgery.
1. Patchy baldness: its occurrence can be related to genetic, autoimmune or neuropsychiatric factors, etc. It manifests itself in the appearance of hair loss spots on the scalp. Oral glucocorticoid (such as prednisone), cyclosporine or non-specific drugs (such as zinc, cystine, etc.) can be used for treatment; topical glucocorticoid (such as betamethasone), minoxidil, etc. can be used locally.
2. Androgenetic alopecia: it is related to genetic factors and can cause follicular atrophy when the hair follicles are sensitive to androgens. It can be treated with oral finasteride, and female androgenic alopecia can be treated with flutamide; at the same time, it can be treated with topical minoxidil and anti-androgen drugs (such as flutametasone, comestibles, etc.); and surgical hair transplantation is also effective for the treatment.
3. Resting hair loss: Hair follicles can be put into resting phase due to postpartum, surgery or mental factors, causing hair loss. There is no special treatment at present, and it can be improved gradually after removing the relevant factors, such as postpartum alopecia, and hair growth can be achieved gradually after delivery.
When the hair becomes bald, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time to find out the cause of the disease and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
