How to treat a large tongue

Tongue is mainly a clinical symptom of slurred speech, and the treatment needs to be analyzed specifically to diagnose what is causing the slurred speech. If it is a teenager or a child with slurred speech, it may be a case of stuttering. If it is a teenager who stutters, he or she can be rehabilitated with tongue twisters. In adults, slurred speech is commonly caused by facial paralysis and involves treatment of peripheral facial neuritis, which is routinely treated with hormonal therapy and neurotrophic drugs. In the elderly, slurred speech is commonly caused by ischemic cerebrovascular disease, such as cerebral infarction, which involves the treatment of cerebral infarction. For cerebral infarction that meets the indication for thrombolysis, acute thrombolysis is carried out. For those who do not meet the thrombolytic indications, treatment usually involves anti-atherosclerotic and neurotrophic therapy, and in the later stages it includes the use of rehabilitation training to restore speech function.
