How to tell if H. pylori has cured itself

Helicobacter pylori generally can not be self-cured, can be detected by rapid urease test, urea breath test, serologic examination and other methods.
1. Rapid urease test: under gastroscopy, 1-2 gastric sinus mucosa tissues are clamped and put into the urea-containing test solution, if it turns red after a few minutes, it proves that there is Helicobacter pylori, which is called rapid urease test.
2. Urea breath test: Subjects take urea capsules labeled with ¹³C or ¹⁴C, and the exhaled ¹³CO2 or ¹⁴CO2 is measured by a specific instrument with high sensitivity to determine whether there is H. pylori infection.
3. Serologic examination: Blood is drawn to check for serum antibodies to H. pylori, but it can only say that there has been a bacterial infection, not whether there is H. pylori now.
The most commonly used clinical test is the urea breath test. If you have H. pylori infection, you should go to the hospital in time and be treated under the guidance of your doctor.
