Will adenoid hypertrophy shrink on its own?

This is one of the most frequently asked questions by parents. Generally, adenoids shrink on their own after the age of 6-7 years, but nowadays, we find that many children do not shrink and gradually increase in size, which seriously affects their studies. This is not uncommon at the moment, and most of these children come for surgery during the summer holidays. If the child’s adenoids are very large and the symptoms are severe, expecting that they will gradually shrink after the age of 6 and not willing to operate, I personally do not recommend it.
