Age of onset of cervical cancer

In the past, the peak incidence of cervical cancer was at the age of 45-65 years, assuming that HPV infection was acquired after marriage, and the onset of the disease took about 8-10 years. Nowadays, with the advancement of the age of sexual life, the age of onset of medical statistics is divided into two stages, as follows: 1. Stage 1: the peak of onset is 25-35 years old, which is related to HPV infection and premature sexual life. Assuming an earlier age of sexual life, after 10 years, the onset of the disease is about 25-35 years old; 2. Stage 2: the peak of the onset of the disease is 40-60 years old.
