Ointments for white spots

White patches are associated with vitiligo, florid furfura, and pityriasis alba. Vitiligo, floridoderma furfur patients need to follow the doctor’s instructions symptomatic treatment with fluticasone propionate cream, ketoconazole cream and other drugs, while white furfur generally do not need treatment.
1. Vitiligo: Clinical for vitiligo, commonly used creams are fluticasone propionate cream, hydrocortisone butyrate cream and other glucocorticoid preparations, which help to restore skin color. Calcium-regulated phosphatase inhibitors such as tacrolimus ointment and pimecrolimus cream, and vitamin D3 derivatives such as calcipotriol or tacalcitol ointment can also be applied.
2.florid chafing: because florid chafing is caused by Malassezia violating the cuticle of the skin, so patients can use antifungal topical preparations, such as ketoconazole cream, miconazole cream, clotrimazole cream and so on. Some patients can also use 2% ketoconazole lotion, 20% ~ 40% sodium thiosulfate solution, 2.5% selenium disulfide and other drugs.
3. White chaff rash: usually white chaff rash can subside on its own, do not need special treatment, but daily need to strengthen the skin moisturizing care. Some patients can use 5% urea ointment, 5% sulfur cream, 2% salicylic acid ointment and so on.
It is recommended that those who have white spots should consult a doctor for examination, and follow the doctor’s instructions for medication after clarifying the disease, and should not use drugs indiscriminately on their own.
