The benign or malignant nature of a lobulated polyp 1cm needs to be clarified on the basis of pathologic examination and cannot be determined by appearance alone. Lobulated polyps are named according to their morphology and are among the more common types of polyps. Polyps are categorized as benign, precancerous and malignant. Although lobulated polyps may be benign, malignancy cannot be completely ruled out, especially if the size of the polyp has reached 1cm, to determine whether it is benign or malignant, pathological examination is still needed to confirm the diagnosis. In addition, it is worth noting that lobulated polyps have a higher chance of becoming cancerous than other polyps with smooth edges, especially for polyps over 1cm in size. Therefore, it is recommended to consult a doctor to complete the pathology examination in order to clarify the nature of the polyp and to standardize the next treatment plan.
