The sensation of myocardial infarction is the presence of very severe, unbearable, and very long-lasting pain, or a conscious feeling of pressure in the anterior region of the heart in the patient. Some patients can also present with profuse sweating, perspiration, fear, and restlessness. When this condition occurs, the patient cannot get relief even with rest or containing relevant medications. However, there are some patients who have the feeling of myocardial infarction, but it is not necessarily true that myocardial infarction occurs. For example, there are some patients who have somatoform disorders, when uncomfortable symptoms attack, there may also be a sense of near death, there may not be any organic lesions. Therefore, when a patient has a myocardial infarction feeling, an electrocardiogram and myocardial enzymology lab tests should be done first to make a preliminary differential diagnosis.
