After surgery for fibroids, the first menstrual period will usually be less heavy and dark red in color, and some patients will have dribbling menstrual periods. After surgery for submucosal fibroids, the amount of menstrual flow and leukorrhea will be significantly reduced compared with the amount before surgery. Subplasma fibroids and interstitial fibroids patients have no significant changes after surgery compared with before surgery. A small number of patients will have a small amount of bleeding in the first menstrual cycle after surgery, and the menstrual cycle will be the same as usual in the second and third months, so patients do not need to worry about the changes in menstruation caused by the surgery too much.
