Lighter cases such as sleep difficulties or sleep easily awake, sleeplessness after waking, heavy cases sleeplessness, often accompanied by headache, dizziness, palpitations, forgetfulness, dreaminess, etc.. (2) Causes: 1. Insomnia caused by psychological factors Psychological factors are the main cause of insomnia. Not only people with psychological disorders are often accompanied by insomnia, even normal people can also cause insomnia when they are emotionally disturbed and under psychological pressure. Depression and anxiety about excessive health concerns are common psychological characteristics of chronic insomniacs. About 90% of all depressed people have insomnia, and the real cause of 70% of insomnia may be depression. Insomniacs tend to overestimate the time to fall asleep, and the time to sleep is estimated too short, these people themselves have a greater psychological pressure on insomnia, often “the more afraid of insomnia, the more insomnia”, bad implication is often an important cause of insomnia until insomnia persists. 2, insomnia caused by environmental factors sudden changes in the sleep environment (such as business trips), noisy sounds, too bright lights, room temperature too hot and too cold, too much humidity, uncomfortable beds, too crowded rooms, etc. will affect sleep. In addition, drinking tea and coffee before going to bed can also affect sleep. 3.Insomnia caused by disease and drug factors Pain, dyspnea, asthma, frequent coughing, palpitations, gastrocnemius muscle spasm, etc. can affect sleep. Insomnia can also occur after taking central excitatory drugs, or suddenly stopping sedative sleeping drugs after a long period of time. (3) Pathogenesis: Sleep is dominated by the mind and the spirit, and if the spirit is at ease, sleep is possible. However, the Shen’s peace needs to rely on the full nourishment of Yin and blood, the Wei Qi is full and harmonious, the Liver Qi is regulated, the heart and kidneys are in harmony, in order to maintain the coordination of Qi, blood, Yin and Yang, so that Yin and Yang cross, sleep normally. 1, liver depression and fire type: the mood is too extreme, the liver does not regulate up, the qi depression and fire, fire inflammation, disturbing the heart and mind for insomnia. 2, phlegm-heat internal disturbance type: poor diet or thought and tiredness, injury to the spleen and stomach, the spleen and stomach is not healthy, resulting in phlegm and turbid internal growth, depression and heat, disturbing the mind, insomnia. 3, yin deficiency fire type: congenital deficiency, weakness, or too much intercourse, or a long illness, resulting in kidney yin depletion, can not be on the heart and restrain the heart fire, the heart fire alone against, the gods can not rest and insomnia. 4, the heart and spleen two deficiency type: thinking about labor and weariness, labor injury heart and spleen, blood deficiency, the heart and mind lose nourishment; or deficiency after illness, blood deficiency after childbirth, aging blood deficiency, resulting in heart blood deficiency, heart loss of nourishment, the heart and mind restless. Causes insomnia. 5.Heart deficiency and timidity type: Heart and gall bladder deficiency, or violent fright, resulting in restlessness of the heart and mind, resulting in restless sleep at night. (4) Diagnostic points: 1. Heart and spleen deficiency: dreamy and easy to wake up, or hazy and insubstantial, palpitations and forgetfulness, dizziness and dizziness, fatigue, less facial color, light tongue with thin coating and weak pulse. 5. Heart deficiency and timidity type: night sleep, palpitations and timidity, with light tongue and thin coating and thin pulse.
