Diarrhea can be routinely treated with probiotics to regulate the intestines, such as Mammazine and Saccharomyces boulardii. When watery stools are particularly abundant, you can add montelukast antidiarrheal treatment to protect the gastrointestinal mucosa and reduce the damage of toxins to the intestine. Montelukast starts to be gradually reduced to discontinued when the stools turn from thin to thick, or when the stools are slightly formed. If bacterial inflammation is combined, anti-inflammatory treatment with cephalosporins is required. If the child is poor in spirit and has obvious symptoms of dehydration, prompt hospital consultation is recommended.
