Cervical spinal stenosis should be given non-surgical treatments such as establishing good habits, neck protection, massage, physical therapy, and medication in the early stages. The treatment of cervical spinal stenosis can be categorized into non-surgical treatment and surgical treatment. For early and mild cases, non-surgical treatments can be tried, while those with ineffective non-surgical treatments should receive surgical treatments as soon as possible to avoid delaying the condition. 1. Establish good habits: develop good living and working habits, avoid long-term low head posture, strengthen the neck extensor muscle exercise. 2. Neck protection: strengthen the rest, avoid excessive neck strain and too violent neck activities. 3. Gentle massage and regular physiotherapy: help to promote local blood circulation, reduce muscle spasm and relieve local symptoms, but heavy manipulation is risky and should be avoided. 4. Medications: medications that activate blood circulation and remove blood stasis (e.g. Cervical Fukang Granules), anti-inflammatory and analgesic (e.g. Ibuprofen, Loxoprofen Sodium), and nutritive drugs (e.g. Mecobalamin) can be used as prescribed by the doctor. If cervical spinal stenosis is diagnosed, early and standardized treatment is recommended to reduce the adverse effects of the disease.
