Who is not suitable for subcutaneous implantation?

  Subcutaneous implantation contraceptive method, referred to as subcutaneous implantation, is a new type of contraceptive method, which has been popularized all over the world.  This contraceptive method is to put a certain dose of progestin in a silicon capsule tube, and then bury this tube under the skin, so that it slowly releases a small amount of progestin, thus playing a contraceptive role. 1984, China introduced this contraceptive agent, first in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Shenyang and other cities to use, at present, 15 provinces and cities have established clinical experimental centers of subcutaneous implantation to carry out this procedure. According to the statistics of relevant data, the pregnancy rate is only 0.1% in 2 years and 0.24% in 3 years.       Women suffering from severe anemia, hypertension, frequent headaches, hyperthyroidism, breast cancer, diabetes, uterine fibroids, ovarian tumors, severe skin diseases, hepatitis, nephritis, etc., as well as women with a history of ectopic pregnancy, lactating women, women weighing more than 70 kg or taking anti-epileptic drugs or anti-tuberculosis drugs are not suitable for the subcutaneous implant contraceptive method.
