The Tai Yi point is 2 inches above the navel, 2 inches open next to the anterior midline; the Sliding Flesh Gate point is 1 inch above the navel, 2 inches open next to the anterior midline. The Taiyi point is 2 inches above the navel and opens 2 inches beside the anterior median line, i.e., about 3 finger widths; the Slippery Flesh Gate point is 1 inch above the navel, i.e., about 1 middle finger width, and opens 2 inches beside the anterior median line, i.e., about 3 finger widths.
