Can cancer spread and be saved?

Once the cancer has spread, it is not untreatable, there is still a chance of treatment, which means there may be salvation. However, it depends on what kind of cancer and where it has spread to. If it has only spread locally, there is a chance for surgery. If the cancer has spread far away, that is, metastasized to other places, there is no way to treat it surgically, but local interventional treatment, radiotherapy, microwave and radiofrequency ablation, and freezing can be considered. In addition, systemic treatment, including chemotherapy, targeted drug therapy, and immunotherapy, can also prolong the survival period if effective. Cancer spreading indicates that the disease has progressed to advanced stage, so the treatment should focus on reducing pain and prolonging survival.
