Who should not take levamlodipine?

Patients who are allergic to dihydropyridine calcium antagonists, patients with impaired liver and kidney function, and pregnant and breastfeeding women should not take Levamlodipine.
Taking Levamlodipine in patients who are allergic to dihydropyridine calcium antagonists can cause allergic symptoms, which may lead to serious conditions such as breathing difficulties, and may even pose a life-threatening risk to the patient.
Patients with impaired hepatic function should take this drug with great care, but normal doses may be used in patients with impaired renal function.
Pregnant and breastfeeding women are advised that patients should not take this drug if there are other safer alternatives.
