Can special groups be vaccinated

The Technical Guidelines for Neocoronavirus Vaccination (First Edition), released by the National Health Commission on March 29, clarifies the recommendations for vaccination for women of childbearing age, pregnancy and breastfeeding. If a woman becomes pregnant after vaccination or is vaccinated when pregnancy is unknown, special medical measures (e.g., termination of pregnancy) are not recommended solely because of neo-coronavirus vaccination, and good pregnancy checkups and follow-up visits are recommended. For women who are planning to conceive, there is no need to delay pregnancy planning solely because of vaccination with the new coronavirus vaccine. Although there are no clinical study data on the effect of neocoronavirus vaccination on breastfeeding infants and young children in breastfeeding women, based on the understanding of the safety of the vaccine, it is recommended that breastfeeding women (e.g., healthcare workers, etc.) who are at a high risk of neocoronavirus infection should be vaccinated. Considering the importance of breastfeeding to the nutrition and health of infants and young children, and with reference to the prevailing international practice, it is recommended that breastfeeding should be continued after vaccination of lactating females with the neo-coronavirus vaccine. Pregnant women, who are contraindicated for vaccination, are recommended to go through this period before vaccination. Except for the above cases, women can receive the new coronavirus vaccine normally during their physiological period without being affected.
