How is anterior pelvic tilt caused?

Anterior pelvic tilt can be caused by physiologic and pathologic reasons such as pregnancy, and pathologic reasons such as imbalance in the strength of the muscles of the lower back and abdomen, and lumbar spine diseases.
1. Physiological causes: Anterior pelvic tilt occurs during pregnancy when the weight of the abdomen increases as the fetus grows and the strength of the lumbar spine reaches its limit. Most of the symptoms are relieved after delivery.
2. Pathologic causes
(1) Imbalance of lumbar and abdominal strength: mainly women like to wear high heels, long time in the habitual forward posture, the pressure on the lumbar vertebrae is relatively large, the lumbar muscle strength is stronger than the abdominal muscle strength. Long-term easily lead to anterior pelvic tilt.
(2) Lumbar spine disease: lumbar spine disease in the lumbar vertebrae lift slip and lumbar spinal stenosis, because of the lumbar muscles have stimulation and compression, can produce pelvic tilt forward.
When anterior pelvic tilt occurs, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time, follow the doctor’s instructions for further examination, clarify the cause with the help of the doctor, and carry out targeted treatment or therapy.
