Can you have a baby two months after an abdominal CT scan?

This is an interesting question that has no standard answer. After an abdominal CT scan, we tend to worry that the exposure of a woman’s egg or a man’s sperm to X-rays will affect the quality of the fertilized egg and the normal growth of the fertilized egg. We generally recommend having children after three months, but this statement is not based on evidence-based medicine, that is to say, this conclusion is not reached after scientific research. Theoretically, the longer the interval, the better for the repair of sperm, egg or fertilized egg, the longer the interval the better, three months is the shortest interval we often recommend.
