The Dangers of Sinus Puncture

The infection may cause fever, pain and other symptoms. 3. Air embolism: If the puncture needle mistakenly enters the blood vessel during the puncture operation, the injection of air into the blood vessel will cause air embolism. Therefore, after the puncture needle enters the sinus cavity during the puncture operation, it is necessary to pump back whether there is pus or air to judge whether the puncture needle enters the sinus cavity. It is recommended that maxillary sinus puncture irrigation to the regular hospital for treatment to avoid puncture complications.
