Women need to drink more water in summer

Summer is the season when women have a high incidence of urinary tract infections. The reason why urinary tract infections love to find women in the summer is related to the physiological structure of women. The urethra of women is short and wide and straight, so bacteria can easily invade the urethra; in addition, the high temperature in summer makes the body sweat a lot and bacteria multiply quickly. Urinary tract infections are generally divided into lower urinary tract infections and upper urinary tract infections. The common lower urinary tract infection is acute cystitis. This disease has a rapid onset, with frequent, urgent and painful urination, a burning sensation in the urethra during urination, and a small amount of urination each time. There may be pain in the lower abdomen at the end of urination, and sometimes blood in the eyes can be seen, and a few patients also have back pain and low fever. The common upper urinary tract infection is acute pyelonephritis. The main clinical manifestations of this disease are frequent urination, urgent urination, painful urination, bloody urine, and often accompanied by lumbago and systemic symptoms, such as chills, high fever, body temperature between 38~40℃, general malaise, loss of appetite, occasional nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension and severe abdominal pain. Although the treatment of urinary tract infection is not complicated, but easy to recur, it is better to prevent than cure. It is important to make a habit of drinking more water to give full play to the “flushing” effect of water on the urethra to avoid the reproduction of bacteria. At the same time, we should pay attention to keep the vulva clean, choose breathable, moisture-absorbing cotton underwear, to be changed every day. The actual fact is that you will be able to get a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits to enhance your body resistance.
