Benidipine hydrochloride tablets and amlodipine are not recommended to be taken together, they belong to the same type of antihypertensive drugs, need to follow the doctor’s instructions. Benidipine hydrochloride tablets and amlodipine are the same type of antihypertensive drugs with similar mechanism of action, and are generally not used in combination, which is prone to increase the incidence of adverse reactions and poor antihypertensive effect. If the blood pressure is high and is not well controlled by Benidipine or Amlodipine alone, it should be combined with other types of antihypertensive drugs under the supervision of a doctor, such as the angiotensin receptor antagonist ramipril or the angiotensin receptor antagonist valsartan.
