Dizziness and headache are relatively common symptoms of anemia, in addition to pale skin and mucous membranes, tinnitus, lethargy, lack of concentration, memory loss, and even fainting. The headache of anemia is not a stabbing pain but an empty pain. The dizziness of anemia is usually not aggravated by violent turning of the head, but will be persistent. Some other manifestations include accelerated breathing heart rate, palpitations and shortness of breath after activity, lack of appetite, nausea, abdominal distension, abdominal discomfort, disturbance of menstrual cycle and low menstrual flow in women of childbearing age, and also low immunity and easy infection.
