Soft tissues are broadly defined as human tissues that are distinct from the skeleton, and the tissues are a combination of cells and intercellular matrix. The basic soft tissues of the human body mainly include epithelial tissue, muscle tissue, connective tissue and nerve tissue, and several tissues can be combined with each other to form organs. Soft tissues are wrapped around bones and can be injured, and their treatment after injury is similar to that of fractures, all requiring local braking, cold compresses, and elevation, with a slightly shorter recovery time for soft tissue injuries than for fractures. Traditional medicine believes that soft tissue injuries and fractures should be compared to each other, so soft tissue lesions should be treated promptly if they occur to avoid the phenomenon of neglect.
