Colic in infants usually occurs within 3 months of age, and in some infants it occurs after 4 to 5 months of age. There is no definite time for colic in other people. The occurrence of infant colic is related to imperfect digestive function, feeding style, environment, etc. It is a normal condition and usually improves gradually after 3~4 months. Diagnostic criteria for infantile colic: Symptoms: agitation and crying during the attack, not relieved by breastfeeding, relieved by exhaustion or defecation; duration of attack: at least 3 days per week, at least 3 attacks per day; growth and development: no growth retardation. The timing and duration of attacks of colic in other populations were not characterized by a relationship with the primary disease.
