The cost of scaling varies between different regions, different levels of hospitals, and different grades of clinics. In general, the cost of a full mouth teeth cleaning, also known as a full mouth supragingival cleaning, at a regular tertiary care hospital is usually between$300-400. This includes a supragingival cleaning of the full mouth of teeth, but does not include a subgingival scraping of the full mouth of teeth. Generally, supragingival cleaning, which is what we call scaling, is already able to maintain basic periodontal health, but if a patient already has intense periodontal disease, further subgingival scraping is considered, and this subgingival scraping scaling is much more expensive. In addition, there are often some clinics under the banner of dozens of dollars to clean the teeth, the vast majority of their disinfection, operation is not very perfect, and most of their purpose of this cleaning is to attract the patient to see if the patient has oral diseases, through further treatment of other oral diseases to charge, so this particularly cheap cleaning we do not recommend.
