Grayish white tissue is cancer

Cancer usually presents with a hard, fish-like texture or a grayish-white mass of swollen tissue. However, grayish white tissue may not necessarily be cancer, but may also be other things, such as calcified foci or celiac infection inside. Therefore, there is no way to determine whether it is cancer by appearance alone. The diagnosis of cancer is based on pathological examination, that is, through routine HE staining, or immunohistochemistry and further genetic testing, to clarify the pathological type to determine whether it is cancer. In addition, if cancer is diagnosed, comprehensive anti-tumor treatment is needed, including further radiotherapy, and systemic chemotherapy. Because this is also a systemic disease, not just removing this piece of tissue can be done.
