Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy usually can not return to normal, the treatment mainly includes general treatment, drug treatment and surgical treatment.
1. General treatment: patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy should avoid fatigue, excitement or strenuous exercise, and avoid the use of digitalis and high-dose diuretics and other drugs.
2. Drug therapy: patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy can be treated with β-blockers such as metoprolol and non-dihydroxypyridine calcium antagonists such as verapamil under the guidance of doctors, which can weaken myocardial contraction force and reduce the obstruction of left ventricular outflow tract, thus improving the symptoms.
3. Surgical treatment: If the effect of drug treatment is not good, patients can be treated by percutaneous septal myocardial ablation and septal myocardial resection.
It should be noted that for patients with severe hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, they will not return to normal after active treatment, and it is recommended that they be treated under the guidance of a professional physician.
