What are the characteristics of an SMA baby

SMA refers to Spinal Muscular Atrophy, which is characterized by muscle weakness, dysphagia and muscle atrophy.
1. Muscle weakness: Babies with spinal muscular atrophy have decreased muscle strength and muscle tone, and are prone to crying and inability to move normally.
2. Dysphagia: As the disease progresses, babies with spinal muscular atrophy may have difficulty swallowing, and in severe cases, they may not be able to eat normally.
3. Muscle atrophy: Babies with spinal muscular atrophy may also have muscle atrophy and tend to have crossed legs when lying down.
If you find that your baby has the above symptoms, you should go to the hospital for treatment.
