Intestinalization with low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia is a description of the pathology findings. It is usually a pathologic manifestation of chronic gastritis, which is treated with medication and, if necessary, surgical endoscopy. Long-term chronic inflammation replaces the superficial epithelium and glands of the gastric mucosa with cup cells and pyloric gland cells. Intestinal epithelial hyperplasia indicates the replacement of gastric intrinsic glands by intestinal glands characterized by cup cells. Low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia indicates hyperproliferation and lack of differentiation during cell regeneration. The proliferating epithelial cells are crowded, stratified, with enlarged nuclei that lose polarity and increased mitosis. This manifestation is a precancerous lesion of gastric cancer. In mild cases, it can turn to normal after active treatment. Generally, drug quadruple therapy is used, which is 1 kind of anti-gastric acid secretion drug such as rabeprazole, plus 2 kinds of antibiotics such as clarithromycin, amoxicillin, plus 1 kind of gastric mucosa protection bismuth such as colloidal bismuth. If ineffective, endoscopic mucosal debridement may be used. If intestinalization with low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia changes occurs, do not use drugs on your own, you need to seek medical treatment as soon as possible to avoid causing adverse complications. Regular review is needed after treatment.
