What are the symptoms of mites on the face

Mites generally refer to helminth mites, and having mites on your face can cause helminthic mite disease, which can manifest as erythema, papules, and pustules on the facial skin, accompanied by itching and stinging. Helminthic mite disease is an inflammatory disease caused by helminthic mites parasitizing human skin, and is commonly seen in patients with rosacea, acne, seborrheic dermatitis, folliculitis, and hormone-dependent dermatitis, which tend to make the condition of these diseases more serious. Clinically, it mainly manifests as persistent erythema, papules, pustules and other skin damage, most commonly found on the parts of the face with more sebaceous glands, such as the nose, forehead and cheeks. It is accompanied by an itching, burning or stinging sensation. If mite infection is suspected, it is recommended to go to the hospital to improve the relevant examination and symptomatic treatment.
