Cosyntropin (generic name Skuclizumab Injection) is not recommended for people who have a positive ppd (i.e., tuberculin test) and a confirmed diagnosis of tuberculosis. Specific medications may be prescribed by your doctor. Skuticosimab Injection is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis who meet the indications for systemic therapy or phototherapy, or adult patients with ankylosing spondylitis who have failed to respond to conventional therapy. Adverse drug reactions include upper respiratory tract infections, oral herpes, oral candidiasis, tinea pedis, and otitis externa. The drug should be contraindicated in people who are allergic to the product or in the presence of significant active infections, such as active tuberculosis. Positive tuberculin test suggests the possibility of active tuberculosis, and the diagnosis should be further improved by chest CT, T-cell spot test for tuberculosis infection and other relevant examinations. Specific medication should be administered under the guidance of a specialist, and should not be used without authorization.
