The danger of aortic coarctation, you must not ignore

Aortic dissection (AD) is a serious cardiovascular emergency in which the intima of the aorta is torn and circulating blood enters the middle layer of the aortic wall through the intima rupture and extends along the aortic wall, peeling off. It is characterized by sudden onset, rapid progression and high mortality. Due to the complexity and variability of clinical manifestations of AD and the lack of specificity, it is easy to cause misdiagnosis and misdiagnosis leading to death. In recent years, our department has treated more than one hundred patients with aortic coarctation, including many difficult and complicated cases, all of whom were operated successfully without any death. The reason for this is that we have established a green channel for the coarctation, no matter outpatient or emergency, once a suspected patient is found, he or she is immediately consulted by a vascular specialist and admitted to the hospital quickly after the diagnosis is confirmed, which saves valuable time for resuscitation. At the same time, we are anxious for the patients and think about them, and actively contact the relevant departments to improve the corresponding examination. CTA examination is now available 24 hours a day in our hospital, which provides great convenience for further clear diagnosis of patients with entrapment. After admission, patients are personally checked by the director with rich clinical experience to discuss the treatment plan and determine the treatment measures. At the same time, our nursing care is closely in place and caring, and the one-stop service of medical care fully reflects the bio-psycho-social medicine model, which makes patients and their families feel at ease and reassured. Our exquisite medical skills have enabled every patient who comes to our department to be cured peacefully and safely.
