Why do I feel choked when I drink water?

Suffocation is usually associated with the following factors: cardiac diseases such as coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, unstable angina, or myocarditis, pericarditis and other factors that lead to insufficient blood supply to the coronary arteries of the heart, which can cause chest tightness, shortness of breath and suffocation when drinking water; cardiac neurosis caused by plant nerve disorders, which can also lead to emotional anxiety, nervousness and fatigue; and sequelae of neurological diseases, such as sequelae of cerebral infarction and cerebral haemorrhage, which can lead to suffocation and choking when drinking water.
