Sanghuang Chenpi Tea is a tea made from the Chinese herbs Sanghuang and Chenpi, which has certain effects of softening and dispersing knots (softening and dissipating hard lumps), regulating qi, strengthening the spleen and harmonizing the stomach.
Sang Huang has the effects of softening and dispersing hard lumps, activating blood circulation, stopping bleeding, harmonizing the stomach and stopping diarrhea, and can be used in the treatment of obstruction in the abdomen (the appearance of tangible or intangible lumps in the abdomen, with a feeling of distension and pain), scrofula (mainly refers to the tuberculosis of cervical lymph nodes), phlegm nuclei (lumps swollen up under the skin such as nuclei), bleeding from traumas, metrorrhagia (excessive menstruation or drips and drops), and gastric fever and vomiting.
Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae has the effects of regulating qi and strengthening the spleen, drying dampness and resolving phlegm (expelling dampness by drying dampness and resolving phlegm), and can be used in the treatment of abdominal distension, scanty food, vomiting and diarrhea, and coughing with profuse phlegm; however, it should be used cautiously if there is solid heat inside the body.
The combination of the above two herbs makes Sanghuang Chenpi Tea have certain efficacy of softening and dispersing knots, regulating qi and strengthening the spleen, harmonizing the stomach, drying dampness and resolving phlegm, and invigorating blood circulation, etc. However, the medicinal constituents that can be precipitated from the tea are limited, and therefore the efficacy is weak, and it is difficult to replace the medication in treating the disease.
It is recommended to use Chinese herbs under the guidance of a Chinese medicine practitioner, and it is not recommended to blindly use Chinese herbs to drink, so as not to cause damage to the body.
