What are the Pain Signs of Rotator Cuff Inflammation

Rotator cuff inflammation can cause pain in multiple areas of the shoulder joint, as well as limited shoulder motion.
In rotator cuff inflammation, there is limited swelling and pressure pain at the top of the shoulder joint, sometimes radiating to the attachment point of deltoid muscle, and when there is inflammation of supraspinatus muscle of the shoulder joint, joint popping sound can be heard in some patients with abduction more than 60 degrees, and the pain is aggravated. In active abduction, it is not possible to fight against the resistance and the activity is obviously limited, but when the abduction does not exceed 90 degrees, the passive activity is generally not limited.
If there is inflammation of the supraspinatus and teres minor tendons, the patient has impaired active external rotation and significant pain. When inflammation of the subscapularis tendon is present, active internal rotation is impaired and pain is increased.
When symptoms of rotator cuff inflammation occur, it is important to seek medical attention in a timely manner, so as not to aggravate the condition.
