Drinking water that has been drunk by a person with AIDS is generally not infected with AIDS, as the saliva of an AIDS patient does not contain HIV, so even if the patient has drunk the water, the water does not necessarily contain HIV. HIV is not transmitted through the digestive tract, so drinking water that carries HIV will not cause HIV infection. In fact, living with an AIDS patient is not infectious. For example, eating with an AIDS patient, using the toilet, using the telephone, using office equipment, or taking a shower together are all behaviors that are not infectious. There are three main ways of transmission of AIDS, namely, blood transmission, sexual transmission and mother-to-child transmission, and as long as you avoid these three ways of transmission, you can prevent yourself from being infected with AIDS.
