Patients may experience the following side effects while taking nifedipine extended-release tablets: 1. Patients may experience dizziness, headache, panic, facial flushing, bradycardia, and ankle edema; 2. Patients may experience gastrointestinal symptoms; 3. Some patients may exhibit rash, drowsiness, and itching; 4. Some patients may experience conjunctivitis, abnormal vision, numbness in the limbs, swollen gums, difficulty breathing, and frequent urination; and 5. Individual patients may experience granulocytopenia. If the above adverse reactions occur, it is recommended that patients should stop the drug in time and switch to other suitable antihypertensive drugs. Most of the adverse reactions can be gradually relieved and improved after stopping the drug.
