Are multiple micronodules in both lungs serious?

Multiple micronodules in both lungs are usually not serious, but they do require active management and regular review. First, the nature of the nodules needs to be clarified. If the nodules are of low-risk type, they can be followed up for observation. If it is a high-risk nodule, thoracoscopic pulmonary nodule resection should be performed as soon as possible. Lung nodules can be categorized into different risk levels based on size, location, and type. Depending on the size, a diameter of less than 5mm is called a pulmonary micronodule; a diameter of 5mm to 10mm is called a pulmonary nodule; and a diameter of 11mm to 30mm is called a pulmonary nodule. Most of the small lung nodules are benign, especially multiple tiny nodules, which can be reviewed regularly. For tiny nodules considered to be inflammatory, they can be treated under the guidance of a doctor. If you feel unwell, it is recommended to go to the hospital as soon as possible to avoid delay.
