There are more reasons for the appearance of brown leukorrhea during non-menstrual period, which may be ovulation bleeding, side effects of contraceptive pills, uterine fibroids, cervical lesions and so on.
1. Ovulation bleeding: during ovulation, due to a transient decrease in estrogen, part of the endometrium loses support and leads to a small amount of bleeding, which usually disappears naturally within 1 to 3 days and is a normal physiological phenomenon.
2. Side effects of contraceptive pills: After taking contraceptive pills, withdrawal bleeding may occur within 3 to 7 days after stopping taking them.
3. Uterine fibroids: Bleeding from uterine fibroids is mostly seen in submucous fibroids, which may make the menstrual period irregular.
4. Cervical lesions: Irregular vaginal bleeding is the first symptom of cervical cancer and may be accompanied by abnormal vaginal discharge.
Brown leukorrhea during non-menstrual period can also be seen in other reasons, and it is recommended that the patient should consult the doctor in time, improve the relevant examination, clarify the cause of the disease under the doctor’s guidance, and target the treatment to avoid delaying the condition.
